March 2015 - Vol. 1 - No. 2

Greetings one and all!!

I hope each of you enjoyed reading the first issue of "Theodore Talks" and found it to be a useful means of receiving updates and news of my vocational activities. As mentioned, the plan is to merge several professional elements into a monthly newsletter format, thus minimizing the novel approach. Although, I did think this was a rather novel idea (Pun intended). So, without further pontificating, here is issue No.2 of “Theodore Talks.”

All things music and creative!

Another major update has been completed. My publishing website has been upgraded with a new look, an improved listening option, and each piece has its own informational page. Check it out at: www.journeybegunmusic.com.

As I mentioned last month, "Jesus Loves Me, I Will Praise Him," the final children's song of four, was completed in late 2013. This song, along with "Jesus Is My Shepherd," "Jesus Is My Savior" and "Jesus, Jesus, Oh, How You Love Me" are all now available on my publishing website: www.journeybegunmusic.com/?page_id=2.

The Greenleaf Singers is currently auditioning singers for a Soprano spot in the group. If you know of someone who would be interested, send them to our audition page at: www.greenleafsingers.com/audition.

Living Life to the +Plus!

Here is this month’s tip for making/taking one simple step to harmonious health:

Our lives can become crazy busy. So, take a minute (or more) out of your day to retune your NRG (energy) with some focused breathing. Click on the following link to listen to some music specifically created to help you focus:

Over the past year, Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd began digging deep into answering the following questions:

                1. How are faithful Christian disciples formed today?

                2. What sustains them through a lifetime?

                3. How can congregations make a real difference?

The guiding factor, with scripture at the core, has been that of the Vibrant Faith Ministries. Small changes and newly introduced, yet Biblically and historically grounded concepts, have proven effective in clarifying the congregation’s missional focus. Stay tuned next month as I introduce the Five Principles of Living and Passing on Faith.

Be on the lookout next month for Volume 1, No. 3. If you know of anyone who would like to receive this newsletter, let me know and I can add their information to the list or you can send them to the contact/subscription page of my website: www.theodorejander.com/?page_id=40

Blessings to each of you!
